Personal Data Processing Policy at the Private Service Unitary Enterprise "Akadem and K"

  • General Provisions This personal data processing policy is compiled in accordance with the requirements of the «Personal Data Protection Law» and defines the procedure for processing personal data and measures to ensure the security of personal data of the private enterprise «Akadem and K» (hereinafter — Operator). 1.1. The Operator sets as its primary goal and condition for its activities the observance of human and citizen rights and freedoms in processing their personal data, including protecting the rights to privacy, personal and family secrets. 1.2. This policy of the Operator regarding personal data processing (hereinafter — Policy) applies to all information the Operator can obtain about visitors to the websites https://academyka.by and https://academyka.com.
  • Key Concepts Used in the Policy 2.1. Automated processing of personal data — processing of personal data using computer technology; 2.2. Blocking of personal data — temporary cessation of personal data processing (except when processing is necessary to clarify personal data); 2.3. Website — a set of graphic and information materials, as well as computer programs and databases that make them available on the Internet at the network addresses https://academyka.by and https://academyka.com; 2.4. Personal data information system — a collection of personal data contained in databases and the information technologies and technical means ensuring their processing; 2.5. Anonymization of personal data — actions as a result of which it is impossible to determine without using additional information the ownership of personal data to a specific User or another personal data subject; 2.6. Processing of personal data – any action (operation) or set of actions (operations), performed with or without the use of automation tools with personal data, including collection, recording, systematization, accumulation, storage, clarification (updating, modification), extraction, use, transmission (distribution, provision, access), anonymization, blocking, deletion, destruction of personal data; 2.7. Operator – the state authority, municipal body, legal or physical person, independently or together with others organizing and/or performing the processing of personal data, as well as determining the purposes of processing personal data, the composition of personal data to be processed, actions (operations) performed with personal data; 2.8. Personal data – any information relating directly or indirectly to a specific or identifiable User of the websites https://academyka.by and https://academyka.com; 2.9. User – any visitor to the websites https://academyka.by and https://academyka.com; 2.10. Provision of personal data – actions aimed at disclosing personal data to a specific person or a limited circle of persons; 2.11. Dissemination of personal data – any actions aimed at disclosing personal data to an indefinite circle of persons (transfer of personal data) or on familiarizing an unlimited number of people with personal data, including disclosing personal data in the mass media, placing in information and telecommunication networks or providing access to personal data in any other way; 2.12. Cross-border transfer of personal data – transfer of personal data to the territory of a foreign state to the authority of a foreign state, a foreign individual or foreign legal entity; 2.13. Destruction of personal data – any actions that result in personal data being irretrievably destroyed with no possibility of further restoring the content of personal data in the personal data information system and/or destroying the physical media of personal data.
  • Scope of Processed Data The Operator may process the following personal data of the User: 3.1. Surname, first name, patronymic; 3.2. Email address; 3.3. Phone numbers; 3.4. The site also collects and processes anonymized data about visitors (including «cookie» files) using Internet statistics services (Yandex Metrica, Google Analytics, and others). 3.5. The aforementioned data further in the text of the Policy are united by the common term Personal Data.
  • Purposes of Processing Personal Data 4.1. The purpose of processing the User’s personal data — to inform the User by sending emails; concluding, performing, and terminating civil-law contracts; providing the User access to services, information, and/or materials contained on the website. 4.2. The Operator also has the right to send notifications to the User about new products and services, special offers, and various events. The user can always opt out of receiving informational messages by sending the Operator an email to sales@academyka.com with the note «Opt-out of notifications about new products and services and special offers.» 4.3. Anonymized data collected about Users using Internet statistics services are used to collect information about Users’ actions on the site, to improve the quality of the site and its content.
  • Legal Basis for Processing Personal Data 5.1. The Operator processes the User’s personal data only if they are filled out and/or sent by the User independently through special forms located on the websites https://academyka.by and https://academyka.com. By filling out the appropriate forms and/or sending their personal data to the Operator, the User expresses their agreement with this Policy. 5.2. The Operator processes anonymized data about the User if this is allowed in the settings of the User’s browser (saving of «cookie» files and the use of JavaScript technology is enabled).
  • Procedure for the Collection, Storage, Transfer, and Other Types of Processing of Personal Data The security of personal data processed by the Operator is ensured by implementing legal, organizational, and technical measures necessary to fully comply with the current legislation on personal data protection. 6.1. The Operator ensures the safety of personal data and takes all possible measures excluding access to personal data by unauthorized persons. 6.2. The User’s personal data will never, under any circumstances, be transferred to third parties, except for cases related to the fulfillment of current legislation. 6.3. In case inaccuracies in personal data are found, the User can update them independently by sending a notification to the Operator’s email address sales@academyka.com with the note «Update of personal data.» 6.4. The term for processing personal data is unlimited. The User may at any time revoke their consent to the processing of personal data by sending a notification via email to the Operator’s email address sales@academyka.com with the note «Revocation of consent to the processing of personal data.»
  • Cross-Border Transfer of Personal Data 7.1. Before starting the cross-border transfer of personal data, the Operator must ensure that the foreign state to whose territory the personal data is intended to be transferred provides reliable protection of the rights of personal data subjects. 7.2. Cross-border transfer of personal data to the territories of foreign states that do not meet the above requirements may only be carried out if there is written consent from the personal data subject for the cross-border transfer of their personal data and/or performance of a contract of which the personal data subject is a party.
  • Final Provisions 8.1. The User can obtain any clarifications on issues concerning the processing of their personal data by contacting the Operator via email sales@academyka.com. 8.2. Any changes to the Operator’s personal data processing policy will be reflected in this document. The policy is in force indefinitely until it is replaced with a new version. 8.3. The current version of the Policy is freely available on the Internet at https://academyka.by and https://academyka.com.

regarding the processing of cookies

1. General Provisions
1.1. The publication of the Policy on the processing of cookies (hereinafter referred to as the Policy) is one of the mandatory measures taken by the Private Enterprise «Akadem i K» to ensure the protection of personal data, as provided for in Article 17 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus dated May 7, 2021 No. 99 Z «On the Protection of Personal Data» (hereinafter referred to as the Law).

This Policy explains to users of the information resource academyka.com (hereinafter referred to as the Internet site), the owner (holder) of which is the Private Enterprise «Akadem i K», how, for what purposes and on what legal basis their personal data is collected, used or otherwise processed.

1.2. For the purposes of this Policy, cookies are text files stored in the Internet browser of the user’s device (computer, mobile phone, etc.) when visiting Internet sites to reflect and (or) remember the user’s actions.
Other terms are used in this Policy in the meanings defined by the Law.
